HOW DO I GET MY MARRIAGE LICENSE?
You and your intended spouse have to go to your county clerk to receive your marriage license.
**The cost of a marriage license in Dallas County is $81.00
WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I GET MY MARRIAGE LICENSE?
Upon receiving your marriage license there is a 3 day wait before completing*(check in your county)
Your marriage license expires 90 days from issuance
WHO RETURNS MY MARRIAGE LICENSE?
Your marriage license must be returned within 10 days of your wedding. Either I can return your marriage license or you can. It is your choice.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR A MARRIAGE LICENSE IN DALLAS COUNTY?
Both parties must appear before the county clerk; Submit proof of identity and age; Provide information applicable to that person for which space is provided. Mark the appropriate boxes provided in the application and; Take the oath printed on the application and sign before the county clerk.
